Amongst shadows of thieves

Amongst shadows of thieves

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Born in
my parent’s shadow
I broke free
to live in my own
until I became
in tomorrow’s light
a forgotten shadow.
We are all thieves
on time’s calendar
we take what’s ours
until we can’t
take anymore.

Wow! This was powerful and deep. You are waxing philosophical dear poet and friend.
Now let me go back to take what is mine before it is too late.
