The downfall of all creations poetic

The downfall of all creations poetic

A Poem by andrew mitchell

My name is not important
I’m only a meaning
that wanders along
a verse following
a line.
Sometimes I am read,
other times I stand
in the shadows waiting
to reveal all as I
transmit an invisible signal
echoing along your thoughts
in the hope of our
entanglement.
But today, I’m misread
I am alone except
the master who
created me
and like all creations,
even he has moved on.

I really like this poem and its deep message Andrew. Often I liken my work to children that I must let go to stand on their own. They are my children and reflect aspects of me within and between the words. I think your work speaks to that idea as us the artist, and poetry the child who must move forward without us.
