It’s hard to believe

It’s hard to believe

A Poem by andrew mitchell

It’s hard to believe
in order to get
our point across
we do have
a pointer finger
but it’s rude to point.

It’s hard to believe,
if only we had checked
with our index finger first
but what’s the point
I ask you, it’s pointless
exercise anyway.

However not all
is lost.....
we can get our palms read-
a point in the right direction
wouldn’t you say,
but it’s rude to point.

A clever and amusing play on words here, Andrew. Fun, and straight to the point! Thanks for the smile!

Thank you Robert for your kind words on a play on words.
I did like the below lines.
"However not all
is lost.....
we can get our palms read-
a point in the right direction
wouldn’t you say,
but it’s rude to point."
The palms reader lies to me. She told me. I would be rich and I am not. I liked the dance of words Andrew.

Thank you John, a pointless exercise on a play of words probably for my muse if anything.
