The offerings

The offerings

A Poem by andrew mitchell

At the corner shop
I was told I had
two paths:
the path I took
and the other
I didn't take.
The mistakes I did
and the errors
I could have made.
I was reminded
of the love I chose,
the love I didn't
pursue and the
loves I left behind.
Looking back
the corner shop
disappeared.
