The sigh

The sigh

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What is said
is said
but what of
the words unsaid.
I give you
the sigh.

The sigh of silence
that echoes
in the minds
before it breaks
into a word.

Oh I like this a lot! That sigh! The sigh that begs a question but does one dare ask or just let it echo? Or do we return the sigh? Tricky….very nice writing!

Thank you Patricia.
How many times have we wished we had said what was on our minds. Of course, there are those times when we should be glad that we didn't say what was on our mind. Nicely written and thought provoking, Andrew. Thank you for sharing.

You’re welcome!
Gentle through of words written Andrew. Sometime silence is better than speaking. Good to ponder your words before speaking. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
