Anyone for tennis?

Anyone for tennis?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the tennis news
there was a big racket
everybody got a serve
and now we have
court action.
In cricket news
there was a leg break
caught at silly mid on
by the twelfth man
the bowler got a hat trick
everyone was delighted,
could have been a drop catch
but not before the batsman
was nearly leg before
before being stumped
he was out of his crease
when chasing a streaker.
And now for lawn bowls
and the green green grass
we all call home
there was a delay
a sign said
Keep off the grass!

Now that was an entertaining read Andrew, thoroughly enjoyed with my evening cuppa. Clever with it too.

Okay, love this one. I am a tennis player so the metaphor in that part really struck a nerve.
and of course the title resounded with the Cream song of similar title.
