Just plain silly

Just plain silly

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What’s that?
It’s just a silly
old verse for
a silly old poem.
It all started
with a silly word
that formed a
silly sentence
but not enough
silliness to make
a silly book.
How terribly silly!
Yes! I thought it
was all too silly?
How did the silly verse go?
Silly you said that.
It read.Silly, silly, silly,
and more silly.
As silly as that!
Yep! Silly isn’t it!
Plain silly, Silly.
Where did you get it?
From the sillysaurus!

Where would we be without a little silliness Andrew? In a challenging world anything which can briefly lighten the mood, has to be a plus. Have a good weekend.
