The remoteness of being

The remoteness of being

A Poem by andrew mitchell

0n the remote pages
of nothingness
a line drawn
a word is born
the verse formed
on the imagery
of a meaning
portrayed
as a poem
where time
from the middle ages
echoes its erasure.

erasing the poem erases the poet
