politicians deliver
their first promise -
cheaper energy bills
for the common folk.
This will be achieved
by creating more blackouts
hence less usage
giving a lower power bill.
Bravo! Bravo!

Furthermore, due to inflation
all politicians will get a hefty
pay rise due to the cost of living
the high life.
All the rest can do it tough.
Bravo! Bravo!

Politicians have also delivered
cheaper housing alternatives-
renovator’s dream, open plan
housing developments-
the catch being, you must
live in war torn areas of the world.
Bravo! Bravo!

Also politicians have requested
everyday people of no significance
work eight days a week
to support their
highly regarded pompous
egoistical selfish greedy souls.
Bravo! Bravo!

Truth, the whole truth and
nothing but the truth
will pass the senate
in another lifetime
so for now it’s back
to the lies?
Bravo! Bravo!
