Only I can see my shadow

Only I can see my shadow

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I'm not the same
apparition I use to be.
Sure, I'm still a ghost
in the machine
but I've lost
my powers to be.

Now I'm just
a ghost without a shadow
only I can see
torn from my moorings
a mirage on the horizon
shivering.
