It’s quite symbolic really!

It’s quite symbolic
that the symbol
broke
after all it was
a pentagram
as are all things really ….
made to be broken.
Even spells are made
to be broken
so I rubbed out the line
that had you
protected from
the elements
of the dark side
as you laid
stretched out naked
only to see you vanish
into thin air
to the depths
of the underworld.
Some said it was magic
I called it destiny
I’ve never performed
tricks in my life.
