In the far away galaxy of the imagination

In the far away galaxy of the imagination

A Poem by andrew mitchell

So tell me again
where did you
lose your mind?
I lost my mind
somewhere on
the outer limits
of my imagination.
And so I lived
as a fringe dweller
until that fateful day
when reality knocked
on my door
and woke me up.
It was such
a nice dream ..
a nice dream…
a nice……
Wake up! This is
reality speaking.
No day dreams allowed.
Sorry! I, I, I…….

An interesting thought poem that poetically depicts the want/need/desire to be away, above and beyond the hardships of life with all it's knocks and let downs, save for a personal spaceship our imagination the only conuit to take one to a place of surreal serenity I feel..
