Oh but libraries these days are far less silent than the ones when we were in school. Yet in comparison they are quieter than classrooms will ever be!

Found myself in some for tutoring, teaching and school field trips. No longer teach professionally, mind. It’s for the children’s schooling and group parenting.

Years and years ago I bought some ex library books by Chetwynd-Hayes a favourite author of mine. These days they cost a fortune to buy. I was lucky.

Scary stories aren’t really my thing but there was a time with cousins that we would scare each other at bedtime lol!

I collect and read classic ghost stories/ supernatural stories particularly Algernon Blackwood.
