It’s a long way to eternity

It’s a long way to eternity

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I felt the Earth move
but she didn’t flinch.
Oh well!

Man in suitcase
not necessarily
travelling.
He’s dead.

I couldn’t read
tea leaves.
Too much milk.

I came across
a wishing well…
must be a well.

She gave me
the eye
I thought
I was in
then it hit me
I’m blind
in her eye.

Read the signs
please is hello
thank you is
goodbye.

thank you is goodbye.
It has been nice knowing you even though I didn't know you at all.

Especially the way a woman says it lol
Confusing isn’t it. Ha.
Good humor and a delightful debate of perception.

Scott.

Thank you Scott just little ditties of comedy one liners or an attempt.
Thoughts to keep in mind next time I'm out and about!
