In the mind’s coffin

In the mind’s coffin

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Circumnavigating the mind
a tour through time
where the transportation
of memories recalled
fade in its own immobility
to resurface
and be lived again.

It's funny, Andrew, how differently we see things but how similarly we both love to poetically philosophize about them. I have no real belief in linear time, think it is a human contrivance in an attempt to control the uncontrollable. I have no real belief in death, other then the release of atoms forming particular human body back into the greater cosmic sea of us.
Nonetheless, i have also, like you, sometimes been haunted by what no longer exists. I wonder what people do who do not write or paint or in some way transform their pain?

Thank you Frederick , yes moments never last and memories fade.
Our mind can be twisted Andrew. Make us relive things, we tried to forget. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
