I was there I tell you

I was there I tell you

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When caveman
Invented the wheel
I saw it roll past
I was there.
When Alexander the Great
came into town
I said hello
because I
was there.
I even bumped into
Genghis Khan
Why?
Because I was there!
When Lord Nelson
lost his arm in battle
I had to bandage
his wound
I was there.
I  was there
I tell you
 because one
doesn’t muck around
with reincarnation.
You die and…
 you come back!
Now, where’s me
history book.
