History repeats itself

History repeats itself

A Poem by andrew mitchell

History repeats itself
it’s man’s indigestion.
Yes! Man is good
at making history
but when it comes
to learning lessons
from the past
he fails miserably.
When history
repeats itself
get the medic!

Repeat lessons do seem a waste of resources.

Yes Andrew.
"Yes! Man is good
at making history
but when it comes
to learning lessons
from the past
he fails miserably."
I tried to teach my grandchildren the history of our world. The schools don't teach. My grandchildren had a Monday off and I asked why? They didn't know it was Martin Luther King Jr. The school didn't discuss civil rights. I called the school. The school official told me. We are required to discuss Martin Luther King Jr. for one hour in the month. I believe our world had a short memory. Powerful and worthwhile words shared my friend.
