We’re almost there everyone!

We’re almost there everyone!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Fate was the trip
we had to have
without a road
to take it.

Excuse me! Can I borrow your map?
Certainly not! You have your own map.
My directions are my own.

Try the path
less travelled
if you wish
to get lost.

And any others?
Try the highway to hell.
It’s very scenic
this time of year.
It’s the rains you see!

I would recommend. Skip the highway to hell Andrew. Now with the phones. Hard to get lost now. Nice flow of thoughts. You made me smile. Thank you for sharing the entertaining poetry.

Well now, are we all in the same road? We all end up in very similar situations and it seems we at least share very commonly experienced pit stops and pitfalls.
Fate seems to be a fickle b***h to me. Pardon the language. Ha.
I prefer to drive my own car. And I’m sure I’m delusional as much so as the most sane of us.
Interesting write.
I think this would be a great conversation starter for hours of curious discussions.

Be well my friend.

Scott.

Yes, fate and choices play a part. This is very generalised but would attract a lot of ideas. Thank .. read more
Hehehe! I love your satire which is profound.
You might see Hell's angels on the highway to hell. That could be a good title for a novel.
