Is that a Noo Noo?

Is that a Noo Noo?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Of all the times
to be born naked
we weren’t impressive,
Man that is.

Why couldn’t we
come out in suit and tie?

I’m sure the sculpture of David
would have appreciated it
or was it a very cold day.

Even the elephant
asked naked man.
How do you breathe through that?

Only later to ask.
Can you pick up peanuts?

No wonder we can’t hold our own
straight and vertical
for nothing holds
our attention for very long.

No circus acts here,
no acrobatics, the high wire,
just ring a ring a Rosie.
