I can I will

I can I will

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the new age
of modern development
comes positive thinking.

Put it out there
all those positive vibes
and be rewarded
on what you sow
you shall reap.

Yes positive thinking!
Tell that to a compulsive gambler
who puts out positive vibes
on every time he gambles
after losing
saying this is it,
this is the big one
I’m feeling lucky.
It’s going to happen.

Positive thoughts
not worth the paper
it’s written on.

And now on a
positive note……

lol I find this write rather funny.
I get your point.
Honestly, though, gamblers are unwise and ignorant (and that is being nicer than they deserve, in my opinion)..so maybe it works better if you are not a dumbass.
xD

I understand that, but it also shows that they have a great lack of wisdom.
great ending - I guess the advice is careful what you think positively about you just might get it. Had a dad who always expected the next venture would bring his ship in to port. Made me think of a favorite song by Tom Petty - Something Big. Thanks for the post, enjoyed it. -carl

Thank you so much Carl. Merry Xmas.
A new angle to positive thinking. Beware if you happen to be a gambler. Then you are a dead cert loser. A horrible addiction.
