A poor man’s poet

A poor man’s poet

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What can you give
to a poor man’s poet
but a word or two
if only
in thought
drawing on
the knowledge
of wisdom
only to find out
he knows.

Poor man's poet has more depth than the rich man's.....I believe that.
we know the grit and write about it without adornment...just like it is.

Nice Work Andrew I like how this turns in on itself and still retains the sense. Excellent.
