A Poem by andrew mitchell

Hello! Can I help you?
Yes! I’m after sixteen verses,
4 stanzas, one title ,
some juicy adjectives,
lots of emotion,
and just one meaning.
Will that be write here
or takeaway.
Takeaway thanks!
Would you like them
gifted wrapped.
No, thank you.
Oh! One other thing
we have the proper poem kit,
the extraordinary, and
the award winning kit.
I’ll take the award one.
Here you are,
and would you like
to try the lucky dip?
Something for everybody
be it an idea, a word,
and or an extra verse.
How much?
Two dollars.
I’ll take one.
On opening a message.
“ You’ll never make a poet.”
I knew that!

Some nights. I could use a poetry supply store. Nice flow of thoughts leading to the honest ending. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
