Music of the Gods

Music of the Gods

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In ancient times
when the Gods
walked amongst men,
and meddled in things.

Put another record on will you.
Genesis?
No! Pink Floyd! The meddle album.
Is there an echo in here?
No! It’s the dark side of the moon.
As always it’s us and them.
Wish you were here.
Have a cigar, see Emily play.
No I can’t. I’m visiting
Atom Heart Mother.
Give my regards.
I will.
