The car I bought was new. I have had her 15 years and she has served me well. She won’t become second hand because I’m gonna run her into the ground :) On the other hand my husband’s second hand Auris has had a few teething problems You got to be lucky with second hand cars Andrew.

Thanks Chris, I have owned 3 cars, 2 of which I have run to the ground. The current fav is being repaired I hit a animal late at night on the freeway at 110kms . My first animal I have killed sadly, it’s not a nice feeling. Last year I swerved and dodged a deer, a kangaroo and a koala. The next morning on the freeway I drove past a kangaroo that had been decapitated probably by a big semi. It’s not nice living in bushfire country and driving home late at night around midnight from work. Yesterday we had a bushfire 15kms from our house.

I hit a cat once in my car at 5.00 a.m It was dazzled by the headlights, shot straight into the side of the car. I was so upset. Can imagine your feelings as well about killing an animal while out driving in the dark. You be careful of those bushfires now. They must be terrifying. That one yesterday was quite close.

It’s a misleading title. Its really about the love for a second hand car for example comes with the problems the car has had previously with the original owner which when you buy he is selling you the problems. I know it’s all topsy Turvey . Thank you Nisreena for reviewing.
