I’m not going as I for tell

I’m not going as I for tell

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I have no tickets
for the afterlife
so I’m not going.

Had the wheel
not been invented
he would not have
been runneth over.

If only man
had no ambition
he would have
remained still.

Curiosity was
man’s downfall….

if only he had
left most stones
unturned -

for some truths
are better left
unsaid.

I think someone must have spit in his Post Toasties. Talk about a dark cloud of negativity! Thank God there are braver, more industrious souls in the world. I like this--it's meaningful and thought-provoking.
