Tossed and turned.

Tossed and turned.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A tortured mind
rolls on his thoughts
that need no sleep.
while the body weeps.

The pillow we sleep on
I feel truly sorry for it those nights
We toss n turn we cry we weep
We pull n push and punch the pillow can’t get comfy
These days I need several pillows on a slope to feel I can breathe free all night

Great poem

Hi Julie, thank you. Yes the pillow takes the brunt from a restless sleep.

Yes I think it’s high time I got new ones too
I've always heard our thoughts affect our bodies. And yet, people who have no empathy for others get along just fine. Strange.
