The lock that wouldn’t open

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Diametrically opposed
love was found
in different directions
on the throws of goodbye.

Oh my goodness another poem to ponder early this chilly morning here in Spain.
Read and reread your four lines over and over and each time thinking of different possible meanings...
Love the title which tells a lot about what this means, but then again your last line makes me think of how many types goodbyes there are...and, also that good bye could well be a metaphor for so many things...
Really so clever of you,
Lisa, still pondering

Thank you very much Lisa. It’s all up for interpretation, that’s the beauty of brevity.😀
