Groundless

Groundless

A Poem by andrew mitchell

From the hat
that covers
a terrain of thoughts
travelled
the hat carried
journeys on
regardless -
a fitting
reminder
salutes.

Some are grounded in their roots and traditions; some are groundless needing complete freedom. Some of us have common grounds such as coffeee; some have different tea brews.
Some have common borders; some are borderless.
Is your hat a cowboy hat or an Toboggan?
You are astute either way.
