Inside old

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Old age, a masquerade
the mask you wear
as you get older
hiding a child
inside.

That inner child is always there, peeping out on occasions. And for some in very old age, they are totally reunited with their inner child. I am reminded on visits to my mum, of one old lady who played with her dolls. She was having a tea party with them.
