Funilly enough had cause to speak to a family of two adults and two young teenage children who invaded the 'Quiet' pool in our hotel in Sharm el Sheikh today. So this absolutely ticlkeled me. Short and humour filled.

I tell this to the voices in my head all the time. I'm not a librarian either, but I am a curator of some pretty vocal and insistent personalities. This poem reminded me how important it is to keep taking my meds. That probably wasn't your intent, but I enjoyed the mental slap down I gave the echo of all my bad decisions! I offer you quietly whispered thanks!
I do enjoy this short little poem about a librarian. I really like how you used a common phrase that has been made common through books and movies into a poem. However I think you need to add a message into the poem something that the reader could learn to make this poem a little more meaningful. As suggestion you could a couple more stanzas talking about how silence isn't always a bad thing.
