Roll with the punches

Roll with the punches

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The guillotine man
gave some timely advice.
Quit while you’re a head.
But too late
I was already
a basket case.

Thank you Arundass.
Some heads get so inflated, they burst like a balloon 🎈 with a needle; other heads lose their sanity to insanity of life.
Let me give you a heads up; you are headed towards uncharted territory. Lol
Any headless tombstone, so I can place flowers on???

Wow! I hope to see it one day.
Witty little piece Andrew. Made me smile before I winced at the reminder of the gruesome French Revolution. Hope all is good with you.

Yes terrible instrument for execution. Thanks Chris. I’m ok just my ink is dry.
Andrew,
Love it! An instant laugh out loud! ( I wish there an abbreviation for such a long phrase)

Thank you Vol and for the smile.
Ha ha ha I shouldn’t laugh as this is one hair raising tale
Excuse my pun
The guillotines send a shiver down my back just thinking about it
Well written and executed. Couldn’t resist
