Pillow talk

Pillow talk

A Poem by andrew mitchell

With my head upon
my surrealistic pillow
I surrender to
Dali’s landscapes:
suspended thoughts
dangle on sitar strings
playing Matar by
the Dave Pike Set
where the mind
caressed by psychedelic waves….

Sorry! Stop right there!
You can’t say surrealistic pillow.

What about Tontine allergy free pillow?
Yes that’s much better.

With my head upon
my Tontine allergy free pillow……

I love the added humor in this poem with the allergy free pillow. Oh as we grow in years how the comfort of a soft allergy free pillow is important and soothing. Thanks for the chuckle
