Did you get my word?

Did you get my word?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The word only had meaning
when the recipient responded
be it in sentence or verse
or it was lost in translation.

Yes, 'recipient' holds the value always.
'Did you get my word?'
- if a reader can be included in the answerer, then I'd like to say, yes.. sometimes with a smile and sometimes after intense reflection, but your thoughts and deep words always capture the heart.
