Outside the prism looking in

Outside the prism looking in

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I am the colour
you want me to be
however I am
the spectrum
to many alight.

this is deep; full of meanings. i often feel like i am around others trying to please them, while concealing the spectrum of many lights. i am dark too, but few know that. luckily, on this site i can explore that side of myself through writing. i am light, but people dont know how light. what i would give to others if i could - but few give me that opportunity.
really liked this verse. had me thinking...

Thank you Ern for sharing your thoughts.
We do see what we expect from prismatic light! A fun game in primary school… Pollyanna Harrington making a tidy buck of them too, with Jimmy Bean.
