A sunny perspective

A sunny perspective

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Where would we be
without light and sound?
Somewhere silent,
somewhat dark
or are we just limited
by our range of decibels
we can hear.
In the meantime
the light will
serve us well.

Light and sound are
Things we take for granted until we lose eye sight or our hearing becomes muffled or gone.

I love the thought poured into this poem

Well, that's a good question, Mr Andrew Mitchell! Hmmm, as poets we should picture that situation, somewhere silent, somewhat dark, and I imagine deafness and blindness.
I guess we would be like Hellen Keller.
Provocative piece! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Glenda for stopping by.
And in the meantime autumn is meant to be upon us! “Pinch and a punch,” 🤏

After midnight and before 9am it’s already nice though; at least where I’m at. 👍🏻
