One’s buoyancy drifts

One’s buoyancy drifts

A Poem by andrew mitchell

One is never
truly anchored
the waves of time
sails one away
until one sinks.

This poem is simple yet deep. It quietly captures how time pulls us forward, no matter how much we try to stay grounded. The ending leaves a sense of quiet sadness, like accepting that we all drift eventually. It also kind of shows that the lost time can't be attained back... so better learn to utilize time correctly.
Meaningful write.

Thank you Ayesha
Life is sink or swim echoing our strengths and weaknesses.
The poet is anchored in truth of reality as waves come and go.
I hope we can all learn how to surf the waves.
An excellent poem and one that needs no life guard.
