I Don't Know

Sorry guys, I'm a big mess at the moment.

I don't know anything anymore,
I feel like I don't even know you,
We were so close, so in sync,
But, was any of it true?

Everyone has given up on me,
No one cares anymore,
You said you wouldn't give up,
You promised... You swore.

I don't know what happened,
I'm me, same as I've always been,
Everything else has changed, though,
More than I can comprehend.

I guess people just change,
I guess they just grow apart,
I guess they change their minds,
Or have a change of heart.

Feeling so useless and pointless,
I just... Don't really know.
Can we go back to how we were?
Or should I just go ahead and go?

It's okay to change, people change all the time. Change is inevitable nonetheless. If a person wants to change, they will...I understand how you feel. My best friend and I were so close once back when we met, now it feels like I barely know him since he's changed alot of his ways for the girl he's been seeing. I don't like how he's changed, but I won't tell him I'm not okay with it. I'm glad he's got out of his bad ways and doing bad things,. But yes, it sucks when people change...but sometimes it's for the best.
