Without My Dog

Without My Dog

A Poem by Amanda Renee

Without My Dog

The water sits in the bowl, still.

Unopened, useless cans of food.

Hair in corners I can’t bear to clean,

And probably never will.

Gee
The loss of a dog as much felt as the loss of a family member( perhaps more than in some cases)
Have had cocker spaniels for 30+ years, lost two, hearbreaking, am onto the third a jet black working cocker who at this present time is laid across my lap waiting for daylight and his morning run:))
