Not a Haiku

A Poem by Amanda Renee

Sometimes I feel guilty

that I am Still alive,

But what a gift it was

To know you.

I miss, I miss, I miss so many people my age who are gone...
It was a gift to know them...and I was just thinking about this last night, how I feel a bit guilty for still being here when they are not.

Thank you for sharing your understanding in your eloquent words...
Not a haiku - but a "my ku".

Some gifts are gold, Amanda. And some are just wrapped that way.

What ever may be your "my-ku", I do hope it were the former afterall.
