A Space

A Space

A Poem by Amanda Renee

The magic laid in the space between two buildings

You could only see it in one spot,

A crack, that revealed the future.

You could predict the traffic

The arrival of a bus,

And the color of the next upcoming car,

A whole block through,

Only a second or two, but still magic.

Just a sliver of truth

While talking with a friend,

Until the building was sold

And it came to an end.

An interesting and atmospheric poem here Amanda...:)

I love the way this develops......it's kinda like a mini-movie....almost supernatural....

Until the building was sold........and it came to an end....

Thanks for sharing this ...

Space offers opportunity. That is what I glean from this short poem. Your lines gave me the opportunity to pause and ponder.
