Exit Ramp

Exit Ramp

A Poem by Amanda Renee

It’s weird when I see you,

I forget the exit ramps…

And the scenery looks familiar-

But different, because it is.

It reminds me of past relationships and after they end.

Things we would experience or see together do look so different when I am the only one looking.Just not the same. The heart knows.
