ALAS !

A poem that brings out the importance of time , sometimes its really late by the time you get the courage to say you mean a LOT to me

somethings left undone;

Some words left unspoken; 

your  sudden adieu has left my heart broken;   

wish i could hug you one last time; 

wish i could say your my sunshine;

life has taken strange turns;

 i know you shall never return; 

a lesson  learnt the  hard way ;if you really mean it  say :

Because you never no what the future holds; 

it really hurts when feelings are left untold.

Not keen on the lack of capitalisation on beginning lines. The first word should be two words - Some things. Capitalise your 'I's' - it looks amateurish otherwise. There's an overuse of semi-colons, and misuse of a colon after 'say' - (usually used to imply direct speech following). You never (k)no(w) what the future etc. But I like the message.

The emotion is deep rooted here almost as if you are talking about a relationship or something of your past. Nice work.

"wish i could say your my sunshine;" 'your' should be 'you're' Easy fix!
