Just wrote a few lines on kites . Makar Sakrant is a kite festival widely celebrated all over India marking the beginning of spring .

A palette of colors in the deep blue sky

Thousands of them soaring high

Along with wind and beyond trees

Aiming for the clouds it seems

Tied merely to a string

With the birds they sing

Until they come crashing down

Sure all that rises must fall

Their little flights have taught us all
