Writer’s Block

I slap my notebook in frustration

Blank pages

That’s all it has to offer

Blank pages that I have to fill

But I can’t

I can write

About how I can’t write

But the words I want

Just won’t come

Why does paper have to be so blank?

I'm curious that you added that your poem was 'not supposed to be good' - you explore a sentiment that readers, especially in this forum, can relate to and it makes readers think and remember. I think that's as 'good' as any poem can be!
