smashed

methodically,

into my daily bread;
force feeding me
a steady diet
of your lies.

Not too long ago
you told me
to stop beating
dead horses
and "Get over it"
for the sake of
family.

Today,
I am telling you
it's you
who needs
to GET OVER
me.
