While the world ponders
She aches
Endlessly pushing
Needing
Wanting
Her
To breathe ...
Briefly pausing
To eat,
But knowing
That if she drops her
She'll be
Lost to the sea ...
While the world ponders
She's just a mother
Circling
Swimming
Too tired
To grieve

I read the article and it's deeply disturbing to know as a human. All creatures small and great alike indeed, especially the love of mothers. I think we humans are privileged enough in a way that we can express our grief in terms of words but not so for other living creatures.
Very much moved by this write.
