Twisted Truths

It starts with a story,
A misunderstood phrase.
It is twisted,
Retold and changed.

Now that story,
Has become a lie.
Hurting people,

This twisted truth,
Begins to spread.
It changes,
It hurts the people
Whose names are said.

This lie spreads
Like wild fire.
It can't be tamed,
Can't be changed,
It can't be stopped.

By the end of it all,
The only thing everyone knows
Is the twisted truth.
