Transitions (Stranded)

Transitions (Stranded)

A Poem by an I adrift

Mission accomplished for now

I wouldn't care if the Earth ended right now

Not on those terms

Owls swarm my bedroom

The music is too loud for them

I'm not on that same stride as before

Failure on the opposite side

Drenched in downpour

A sudden outcast

The light has given up

Run dry

I don't really make much sense anymore

A lot more room on the open field

Tough to fill in the lines now

I've got nothing left but sound

Good night

I'm writing to remember

Just in case one day I forget these feelings

Not to look back

But to move on and realize I have no control
