A Poem by an I adrift

He looks at him

Looks like him

People never look like that

To another place

Show your face

It's a never ending race

In the big city where...

connected.

Anytime is what I said and what I meant

What you will and what you could do

What I think you should do

Looking forward and still thinking back never hurts

It could al crumble and I'd never lose that joy

An ope highway to the beginning and away from the end

Time is the key and we will ignite and fade out

We depart but never lose that sense of belonging

It keeps its grasp

We just forget sometimes

Always in the worst possible way

It's overplayed and overdone

Soon I'll be on the run

The tank is empty and like the sun

You will settle

On someone who doesn't appreciate

Or someone like me

I think I'm out

I can feel it

Breaker to nine please

We run

This is nothing

None of us agreed

Jungle Jeep Adventure

I think I'll keep it

Who cut you down and stripped you of your pride because I can say the same

You are like cops

Leaving them and attacking at the first sign of weakness

A simple scenario unveiled the secret

And I ignore it

We make the most simple tasks even simpler

And expect the difficult ones to be a piece of cake

Dying on the highway

Silent in the backseat

Been getting rusty

I guess it's not fair to say but at one point I felt it

You'll never come

I've already left

I see myself on the side of the road

Getting younger

I mean older

Maybe I can't decide

I'll be back soon

Always writing like I'm up in outer space

You remind me I'm on earth

Yeah. Pretty beat.
