Unsaid words leave the deepest wounds.
It outgrows the longer you keep it to yourself.
You go through the phase of disconnection-
feels isolated, lost or alone. 

You build walls side by side. 

You wrap yourself with the fear to be seen.

With this lostness, you can pick up yourself.
You don't have to fight on your own.
You're not alone. Let them hear your regrets . 

Share the frustrations. Speak up. 

Reach out. You're not alone in this.

Your single thought how you write it as poem, but for me it looks a short novel in reading and understanding. You have great skills in expressing it out, I see I would ask God my early retirement to spend make short stories in our library and read them just to teach others it is him who loved like god being God to show what I mean to him ...

Speak up..
I usually feel I have nothing to say, if I speak one word that would turn to big argument, so I feel silence makes calm the other person and it worked well, it was with my family my x husband and inlaws, and with you too. Sometimes it becomes necessary to not to speak up but show my pic that works the same what you said in your initial quote.
But unknowingly I happy with silence the heated argument gets soothen you with calming down and call me back. It happens with my parents too. I shout and suddenly my dad turns his anger more than me, I just like to calm down..
